Submission Information for the 6th Culture and Cognition Conference
The 6th Culture and Cognition conference will be held at Koç University in Istanbul, Türkiye, on September 24-25, 2026.
Call for Submissions:
Priority deadline: April 1, 2026
Decision notifications: by the end of April, 2026
Final deadline: May 1, 2026
Decision notifications: early June, 2026
A second round of abstract submissions for posters will be accepted until May 1, 2026. Due to a high number of talk submissions for the earlier deadline, we are no longer accepting talk submissions. For this deadline, priority will be given to completed projects, though proposed or in-progress work will also be considered for presentation as space allows.

Broad definition of culture: For poster submissions, we are open to submissions that interpret culture broadly. Submissions do not need to compare groups: we welcome work conducted within a single cultural group as well as studies that use individual-difference measures related to dimensions of culture (e.g., values, practices, identities, language experience, norms) to address a research question.
